YOASOBI is a hugely popular Japanese pop duo made up of Vocaloid producer Ayase and vocalist Ikura (Lilas Ikuta). The project's signature concept is turning short stories into songs, yielding bright, hyper-melodic J-pop hits like 'Yoru ni Kakeru' and the anime smash 'Idol.' The name comes from the Japanese word for 'nightlife,' and their genre-blending, narrative-driven songwriting has made them global streaming and touring stars.
