Yellow Eyes

Yellow Eyes is a New York City-based black metal band formed in the winter of 2010 in the forests of northwestern Connecticut, where brothers Will and Sam Skarstad and their bandmates still write and record. Their music features lustrous guitar tones, dissonant chords, and understated drumming, placing them in the blackgaze tradition that emerged from New York in the early 2010s. Their debut was released in 2012 on a limited cassette run, and they have since become one of the most innovative acts in the American black metal underground.
