Wim Tapley & The Cannons are an Athens, Georgia-based rock outfit centered on songwriter and guitarist Wim Tapley, whose guitar-forward arrangements balance grit, melody, and groove. Rooted in Americana and dashed with glam-pop, neo-soul, and horns, the band built around Tapley after he played D.C.-area venues for years. He produced his most recent release The Woodlands entirely solo and runs hometown label Cannon Records.
