White Denim is a freewheeling rock band from Austin, Texas, built around vocalist/guitarist James Petralli and bassist Steve Terebecki. Across a dozen-plus albums, they've fearlessly mixed psychedelic rock, blues, progressive structures, punk energy, and soul into a sound that defies easy categorization. Named Best New Band at the 2008 Austin Music Awards, they broke into the U.K. Top 20 with 2016's Stiff and continue to be one of the most reliably inventive guitar bands going.
