Vinkensport, or The Finch Opera is a contemporary chamber opera by composer David T. Little, built around the real Belgian sport of finch-chirping competitions. It uses that odd premise to explore obsession and competitive drive, scored for a small ensemble rather than a full orchestra. Expect adventurous, character-driven new opera rather than a traditional classical program.
Vinkensport by David T. Little has played Boston twice on foobos since October 2026.
