Twisted Teens is a New Orleans DIY punk project fronted by Cas P. Ian of the folk-punk band Blackbird Raum, with songs that pinball across proto-punk, post-punk, surf punk, country and electronic music without losing their pop instincts. Critics place them in the line of Wire and Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, with a melodic brightness that keeps the chaos accessible.
