Tokyo Tramps are a Boston-based blues-rock band founded by Japanese transplants Satoru Nakagawa and Yukiko Fujii, who moved to the States specifically to play American music and have been doing it hard ever since. They won the River City Blues Competition in Ohio in 2010 and went on to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Live, they lean on boogie, soul-blues, and Nakagawa's slide playing.
