theDeadPets are part of the current wave of DIY punk bands built for the club and basement circuit, trading studio polish for raw, lo-fi energy and self-released recordings. Like much of their scene, they've built a following through relentless live shows and word of mouth rather than mainstream promotion.
theDeadPets has played Boston once on foobos since July 2026.
