The Yawpers’ next Boston-area show is October 3, 2026 at Taffeta Music Hall.
The Yawpers are a Denver trio playing stripped-down rock and roll on overdriven acoustic guitars and a trap kit, with country and blues in the roots. Their name comes from Walt Whitman's "Song of Myself" and its promise to "sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world," and the sound is just as frenetic.
