The Upsides are an indie rock band from New York City, led by brothers Matt and Dan Fullam alongside longtime friends Matt DaSilva, Hart Mechlin, and Pat Freeman. Their sound blends shimmering surf rock with overdriven early-aughts guitar energy, drawing comparisons to The Strokes and 60s surf influences. They released a self-titled debut album in 2024 and are at work on a follow-up.
