The Tubs are a London band playing fast, jangling guitar pop with the chime of British folk rock and the nervous energy of post-punk, with lyrics about grief and bad behavior sung in a flat, wounded voice. Their debut, Dead Meat, landed on a pile of year-end lists, and Cotton Crown followed with more wiry hooks. Two members came from Joanna Gruesome.
