The Suicide Machines are an American ska punk band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1991, originally under the name Jack Kevorkian and the Suicide Machines. Blending hardcore punk aggression with ska rhythms and melodic hooks, they became one of the defining acts of the third-wave ska punk movement, releasing influential albums like Destruction by Definition and Battle Hymns.
