The Soap Girls are a UK-based punk band consisting of French-born, South African-raised sisters Noemie Debray (guitar, vocals) and Camille Debray (bass, vocals). The duo began their career as child street performers in South Africa at ages 8 and 9, selling handmade soap for charity — the origin of their name. After a teenage stint on Universal Records and a South African hit album, they pivoted to raw, DIY punk rock in 2014, releasing their debut punk album Calls for Rebellion in 2015 after relocating to the UK. Known for their fierce, anti-establishment "Revolt Rock" ethos, relentless touring schedule, and intimate connection with fans, the band consistently plays over 100 shows a year as a fully independent act.
