The Rins are a Boston-based band whose 2024 debut album The Heavy Heart plunges freely between ska, punk, doo-wop, reggae, and roots. Melodramatic yet sharp, their single Lover Lover mixes a dark-humor vibe with reggae undertones and a hooky wind-instrument line that signals they are as comfortable being idiosyncratic as they are catchy.
The Rins has played Boston once on foobos since May 2026.
