The Lowest Pair are a two-banjo folk duo, Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee, with deep old-time roots. Their songs wander into loose, jazzy arrangements and close harmony singing that owe as much to the coffeehouse as the barn dance. The name comes from a John Hartford poem.
