The John Hartford Fiddle Tune Project is a bluegrass and old-time ensemble formed to bring John Hartford's vast collection of previously unpublished handwritten fiddle tunes to life. Featuring mandolinist Sharon Gilchrist, fiddler Rachel Baiman, and banjoist/guitarist Ella Korth, the group recorded GRAMMY-nominated volumes from the newly discovered "John Hartford Mammoth Collection of Fiddle Tunes." Their mission is to ensure Hartford's lesser-known compositions become part of the roots music canon for future generations.
