The Fixx are a British new wave band formed in 1980 by college friends Cy Curnin and Adam Woods, who filled out the lineup with guitarist Jamie West-Oram and keyboardist Rupert Greenall. Their run of early-80s hits, 'One Thing Leads to Another,' 'Saved by Zero,' 'Red Skies,' and 'Stand or Fall,' paired anxious, politically-tinged lyrics with taut, chiming arrangements, and the band has toured almost continuously since.
