The Chicken Slacks are a seven-piece, revue-style soul, funk and R&B dance band rooted in the Stax and Memphis tradition, billed as Boston's hardest working. Their influences run from Eddie Bo and Sly Stone to Creedence and Captain Beefheart. They have held down a weekly residency in Cambridge since 2005.
