Temidayo Balogun is a Pan-African saxophonist, pianist, talking drummer, composer, and educator from Osun State, Nigeria. He grew up steeped in West-African music alongside his late father, a devotee of Yoruba traditional song, and began learning instruments like the talking drum and agbamole at age six. Now based in the USA, he weaves Yoruba tradition and Afrobeat into a modern jazz language.
