Stringfest: Borromeo Quartet’s next Boston-area show is October 25, 2026 at Multicultural Arts Center.
A Stringfest programme from Vivo Performing Arts pairing students of the Boston String Academy with the Borromeo String Quartet, the ensemble-in-residence at New England Conservatory since 1992 and, in the Boston Globe's words, 'simply the best there is'. The Borromeo is known for revealing accounts of Beethoven, Bartók, Schoenberg and Shostakovich, and for making difficult contemporary repertoire approachable.
