Smirk is the project of Nick Vicario, a Los Angeles musician also known for his work in Public Eye. Starting as a lo-fi solo recording project and expanding into a full band, Smirk fuses egg-punk, post-punk, and jangly power-pop into wiry, hook-driven songs that have made it a favorite of the DIY punk underground.
