Sk8star (born J. Corey King in Birmingham, UK, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American rapper whose choppy, ad-lib-heavy flow draws comparisons to Playboi Carti and Young Thug. He began rapping at age nine and released his debut project Superstar Status in 2021 after honing an atmospheric trap sound. His 2026 album Designer Junkie is the culmination of years refining his style — fashion-obsessed, rebellious, and steeped in the Atlanta rap tradition.
