Sharp Pins

Sharp Pins has no upcoming Boston-area shows listed. They last played June 28, 2026 at MASS MoCA.

Sharp Pins is the solo project of Chicago-based musician Kai Slater, known for lo-fi guitar-pop steeped in 1960s and 70s rock influences — Rickenbacker jangle, sweetly melodic vocals, and Guided By Voices-style charm. His 2024 album Radio DDR and 2025 follow-up Balloon Balloon Balloon earned strong notices from Stereogum and Pitchfork-adjacent press.
