Satellite of Qantara is a world music ensemble rooted in the tradition of Qantara, the group led by Palestinian-American oud virtuoso and violinist Simon Shaheen, known for fusing Arab classical, jazz, Western classical, and Latin American music. The project has been presented at Berklee College of Music as a cross-pollination of global musical expression.
