Sahn Cannon is a Boston jazz pianist and composer who works between the avant-garde streak of Andrew Hill and the thick textures of Ravel, and it shows in the rhythmic and harmonic density of his writing. His groups move between original compositions, reimagined standards, Latin playing and electronics.
