Rustic Overtones is a Portland, Maine rock band formed in the early 1990s that blends rock, ska, jazz, funk, and soul into a signature horn-driven sound. One of New England's most beloved live acts, they recorded with David Bowie, Imogen Heap, and Funkmaster Flex on their landmark 1999 album Viva Nueva, and were the first group to perform live on XM Satellite Radio. After disbanding in 2002, the band reunited in 2007 and continues to tour.
