Robber Robber is a Burlington, VT duo — multi-instrumentalists Nina Cates and Zack James — who have been collaborating since 2017, translating imagery into sound through post-punk, shoegaze, and krautrock-inflected compositions built on tension and release. Their 2024 debut Wild Guess was produced by Benny Yurco (Grace Potter) and Urian Hackney (The Armed, Rough Francis) and received strong critical attention, with Cates' voice navigating a remarkable range from ethereal to emphatic.
