Rob Flax is an award-winning Boston violinist and multi-instrumentalist who moves between jazz, folk and improvised music; Slava Tolstoy is a Boston guitarist, singer and producer originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. The two have toured together for years, in the International String Trio and Flax's Boom Chick Trio, and play as a duo billed Ten String Tigers.
