Rick Berlin is a Boston institution—a singer, pianist, and diarist who has been performing and writing since the early 1970s, most famously as the theatrical frontman of Orchestra Luna, a cult art-rock band whose lone 1975 Epic Records album is now a collector's item. Decades of solo shows at Boston clubs have made him a beloved fixture of the local scene, and his stream-of-consciousness song-stories blend cabaret, rock, and spoken word in a way that feels utterly his own.
