Restless Spirit is a stoner/doom metal trio from Long Island, New York, formed in 2019 by childhood friends who grew up on Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, and The Sword. Their debut Lord of the New Depression (2019) established their heavy sludge blueprint, and each subsequent release has pushed into more varied and melodic territory. Their self-titled 2026 album on Magnetic Eye Records marks their most straightforward and catchy hard rock statement yet.
