Renee Christine

Renee Christine is an Americana singer-songwriter and cellist raised outside Philadelphia and now based near Phoenix, Arizona, whose music fuses a classic singer-songwriter sensibility with a folk-punk edge. Her debut EP 'Appalachia,' produced by Doug Schadt (Maggie Rogers, Ashe), documents the stories of communities living with hardship and environmental precarity, drawing on cross-country backpacking experiences and a commitment to climate and social justice storytelling. Her sound sits in the lineage of Hozier and Hayley Williams — impassioned, string-driven, and hard to shake.
