Rakim

Rakim (born William Michael Griffin Jr., January 28, 1968, Long Island, NY) is one of the most influential MCs in hip-hop history, widely praised for his complex internal rhyme schemes, measured delivery, and philosophical lyricism. Alongside DJ Eric B., he recorded a run of landmark albums from 1987 to 1992 — including Paid in Full and Let the Rhythm Hit 'Em — that reshaped what was possible on the microphone. He is consistently cited by artists and critics as the greatest rapper of all time.
