Purity Ring is a Canadian electronic duo — vocalist Megan James and producer Corin Roddick — who helped define the 2010s "future pop" and witch-house-adjacent sound with their 2012 debut Shrines. Their live shows are immersive, low-lit affairs built around Roddick's custom tree-shaped instrument and James's icy, pitched-up vocal hooks.
