Nate Sabat is a JUNO-nominated bassist, singer, songwriter and arranger based in Brooklyn and a founding member of the bluegrass band Mile Twelve, with whom he recorded three albums between 2015 and 2023. A native New Yorker who attended LaGuardia High School as a vocal principal and studied upright bass at Berklee, he has toured Europe, Japan, Australia and North America, and wrote the Mel Bay instructional book Dirt Simple Upright Bass.
