Napalm Death is a British extreme metal band from Birmingham, formed in 1981. Widely credited as pioneers of grindcore, they pushed the boundaries of speed, heaviness, and brevity -- their song "You Suffer" holds the Guinness record as the shortest song ever recorded at 1.316 seconds. Over four decades and 16 studio albums, vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway and the band have remained fiercely uncompromising, evolving their sound while staying true to their anti-fascist, humanitarian convictions.
