Nancy Whitaker (also spelled Whittaker) is an alternative and post-rock project based in Montclair, New Jersey, built around multi-instrumentalist Kevin McDaniel, who writes and records most of the material. Expanding into a full band for live shows, the group layers jittery percussion and massive walls of guitar noise into expansive compositions informed by 2000s garage rock; their album 'Our Hallowed Pictures' arrived in 2023.
