Mirah

Mirah is the recording name of Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn, an indie songwriter who emerged from the Olympia, Washington scene around K Records in the late 1990s. Albums like You Think It's Like This But Really It's Like This and C'mon Miracle pair close-miked, intimate vocals with lo-fi arrangements that swing from hushed folk to horns and distortion. She has recorded with Phil Elverum, Thao Nguyen, and the Black Cat Orchestra, and now writes out of Brooklyn.
