Micky and the Motorcars are a red dirt country band led by brothers Micky and Gary Braun. They grew up playing in the family band in Challis, Idaho, moved to Austin in the late 1990s, and have toured steadily ever since. The songs run to road-worn country rock about leaving, working, and getting by. The Brauns are younger brothers of Willy and Cody Braun of Reckless Kelly.
