Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol Quintet

Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol is a Grammy-nominated Turkish-American composer, jazz pianist, and multi-instrumentalist based in Boston. A Berklee College of Music graduate (jazz composition and film scoring, 1997) with a doctorate from New England Conservatory, he leads Dünya, a musicians' collective blending Turkish traditional music with jazz and other global styles, and performs regularly with his own jazz quintet. He teaches as a faculty member at NEC's Intercultural Institute.
