Mason Daring and Jeanie Stahl are a Boston folk duo, one of the defining acts of the local scene in the late 1970s and 1980s, and they still play together. Stahl's clear, unfussy singing fronts the pair's sound. Daring is also a film composer, known for scoring John Sayles films including Matewan and Lone Star.
