Luna

Luna is a New York indie rock band formed in 1991 by singer-guitarist Dean Wareham following the breakup of the seminal dream pop group Galaxie 500. Blending jangly, sun-drenched guitars with Wareham's languid vocals and wry lyrical sensibility, Luna released seven studio albums — including the beloved Penthouse (1995) and Pup Tent (1997) — before disbanding in 2005. After a decade-long hiatus, the band reunited in 2015 and has continued performing and releasing music, including their 2017 comeback LP A Sentimental Education.
