Lucas LaBeau is a jazz pianist and composer from Greendale, Wisconsin, now at Berklee. He started classical piano at four and violin at eight before jazz took over, and plays originals alongside modern repertoire by Immanuel Wilkins and Branford Marsalis, drawing on Art Tatum, Bud Powell, Chick Corea and Sullivan Fortner. He won the 2025 Billy Strayhorn Jazz Education Scholarship.
