lighthearted is the indie-folk duo of identical twin sisters Gracie Huffman and Eliza Lemmon, formed in Georgia in 2019 and built on the kind of close-blood harmony singing you cannot rehearse into a band. They pull from older folk traditions and contemporary indie in equal measure, released the debut album 'from here on out' in 2023, and have kept a steady drip of singles since — 'Borrowed' among them — while a second record takes shape.
