Leo Blanco (The Sugar Road Project)

Leo Blanco is a Venezuelan jazz pianist, composer and musicologist shaped by the El Sistema music education program. He studied at Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory and blends Afro-Caribbean rhythms with jazz and classical influences. He has shared stages with Pat Metheny, Terence Blanchard and Chucho Valdés.
