Le Prestige is a Boston instrumental ensemble that creates low-tech, organic, improvisational music blending the looped grooves of 90s hip-hop with 60s soul jazz stylings. Featuring members including Chris Forkey on bass, Kit Buckley on sax, Scott Getchell on trumpet, and Dana Colley (of Morphine fame) on saxophone, they build danceable grooves layered with funk, jazz, and reggae melodies.
