Lawn Concert: Nina Ott Trio

Nina Ott is a classically trained jazz pianist, organist and composer originally from Detroit. She spent years in Chicago as house pianist for the Green Mill Midnight Sessions before working in the Afro-Cuban and salsa communities of San Francisco, Providence and Boston. She leads the trio Hum, which debuted at WGBH's JazzNow, has played the San Jose Jazz Festival, the Stanford Jazz Festival, the Detroit African American Festival and Rockport's Shalin Liu, and teaches at Berklee College of Music.
