King Kyote is the stage name of Jon King, an indie roots-rock singer and guitarist from York, Maine. Inspired by the resilience of coyotes in the wild, King adopted the moniker in 2018 and quickly built a reputation in the New England folk and roots scene, representing Maine on NBC's American Song Contest with his soulful single "Get Out Alive" and sharing stages with Taj Mahal, Molly Tuttle, and Houndmouth.
