Kathy Snax is the solo project of Boston-based musician Kathleen Mahoney, whose self-described "haunted electropop" blends ethereal vocals, lushly layered synths, and moments of eerie noise. She builds her compositions entirely from synthesizers, looping everything live in real time, and has expanded into a full-band sound on recent releases; she is also a member of Boston garage-pop act Adult Learners and the Delons.
