The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) is one of America's premier big bands, founded in 1988 as part of Lincoln Center's summer concert series in New York City. Under the artistic direction of trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, the ensemble of 15 musicians performs a vast repertoire spanning classic jazz, newly commissioned works, and collaborative projects with artists across genres. Based at the Frederick P. Rose Hall at the Time Warner Center in Manhattan, the JLCO tours internationally and is renowned for its commitment to jazz education and preservation.
