If It Rains is a Boston-area melodic hardcore band fronted by Evan Stein (Broken Vow, Anklebiter). Stein calls it "melodic hardcore for the moshers," pitched between Carry On and the 2000s Step Forward Boston mosh tradition, with American Nightmare-era intensity. Their 12" EP How's It Going to End? keeps up the fast, passionate, slightly melodic attack.
